Almighty and compassionate God,

We come to you in thanksgiving for the love you bestow on the University Parish Newman Center. Since our founding in 1953, you have given us a house of worship for students, families and those beyond the university, so that together, we build your kingdom here on earth.

We come to you in faith as we take this bold endeavor into a future known only to you, your Son, and your Holy Spirit. In these challenging financial times, give us the courage, grace, and confidence to make the necessary sacrifice to build this future together.

Lord, grant us your blessing and help, as together we build our house, our fammily, and build the Body of Christ. We ask this through the intercession of our patroness, the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and her most blessed spouse, St. Joseph.
